Introduction

This blog is about Chapter 22: World War I. This chapter is about how WWI causes and the countries that were involved. The chapter also discusses the affects of the war on the home fronts in the countries. Also the aggression of Germany is discussed in this chapter. Another thing that will be discussed in this chapter is the aftermath of the war and the effectiveness of the Treaty of Versailles.

Objective:
In this blog I hope to demonstrate the knowledge I have gained in this chapter.

Essential Question:
Why was Germany blamed for all of World War I?
Germany was blamed for World War I essentially because of the blank check they wrote Austria-Hungary at the beginning of the war. Austria-Hungary did not have the power to fight a war so Germany essentially fought the war for them. Also, for Austria-Hungary there was no real reason for invading France and Belgium considering Austria was at war with Serbia yet Germany still invaded those two countries. Essentially Germany used the war to try to expand their territory and not to support Austria-Hungary and that is why Germany was blamed for the war.
